Ancient Sussiya
The archaeological site of Sussiya is one of the oldest, best preserved, and most traditional Jewish sites in Israel.
At the site, we have reconstructed an original cave dwelling by means of décor, construction, and lighting, and turned it into an authentic introductory display: screened on the wall, which is thousands of years old, is a feature film with an innovative approach, introducing the visit to the site.
The clients: Har Hebron Regional Council
Location: Sussiya archaeological site
The objective: To inspire visitors to enter the site and learn about the history of the place, and life here thousands of years ago.
The response: An atmospheric reconstruction of a typical cave dwelling from the period of life in Sussiya. The “Secrets of Sussiya” display is screened in the cave – a fascinating feature film presenting the historical mysteries behind the archaeological finds from the period.
